We never forget

Hallel Yaffa Ariel Z¨L was tragically taken from us on June 30, 2016, at the tender age of 13. An avid dancer, she met an untimely end, stabbed by a terrorist while she peacefully slept, just after returning from a joyful dance festival in Jerusalem.

Tiferet Z¨L's life was cut short at the Peace Festival in Re'im on October 7, 2023, at 23. A lover of music, Tiferet, along with over 260 others, fell victim to terrorism raining down from the skies.

Their stories reached me through their families, etching love and dreams into my soul, leaving a profound call to live life with intensity.

In their memory and in tribute to all victims of Islamic extremism, I write. I write for the untold stories, the children denied a chance to grow, the mothers who witnessed their children's premature deaths, and the families consumed by flames.

I write for the young, the elderly, and Shoah survivors mercilessly taken on that ill-fated "Black Saturday." I write for the hostages pleading for life in the clutches of terror.

May these words serve as a beacon of remembrance, bringing light and ensuring we never forget.
